Resistance welding

Resistance welding is to compact the parts to be welded together by pressure, generate resistance heat through the contact surface of the plate by using large current, and generate a temperature higher than the melting point of the workpiece between the parts, so as to form a molten pool. This operation needs to be carried out under high current and pressure. Especially in the process of welding thick plates, the force between the electrode and the connected parts may be as high as 450 MPa. This is a great challenge for the welding electrode which must bear these loads.

Hengmi provides tungsten, molybdenum spot welding electrode and combined electrode for resistance welding. It adopts stable raw materials such as tungsten, molybdenum and copper. Its conductivity, heat dissipation, high temperature stability, strength and mechanical stability can meet the customer's customized requirements. Each of our tungsten and molybdenum electrodes is densified with high density and uniform internal structure. Inlaid electrode is a kind of resistance welding electrode, which is different from common brazing process. Our inlaid electrode is connected in one by NDB (non defective bonding) in vacuum environment, also known as NDB welding electrode, with stable conductivity and heat dissipation. The electrode end can be continuously cooled, reducing the heat load of the electrode end, thus increasing the electrode service life and reducing the production cost.

The products have been applied to the mechanical manufacturing and welding technology in batches, and have been widely praised by customers in the fields of automobile harness, motor, switch contact, ignition coil, brake electronic system, electromagnetic coil, sensor lead connection, welding copper copper strip, copper braided wire contact and other spot welding fields.
